New Tricks from Annaliese
- 10/20/2010 - Started a sticker program...a sticker everytime she does something she has been asked to do the first time. At 10 stickers = silly band. It works! =)
- 10/20/2010 - doing great in first grade. Loves spelling and reading. Loves daisy girl scouts and her friends.
- 05/06/2010 - In dinner prayers we heard "please bless us that we won't say potty words at church or the temple. Bless us to eat our fruits and vegetables. Bless avrie that she will try new foods so we can go to scoops...." Love this girl! Lately she has been doing rhyming prayers also..."Thank you for the birds and words. Thank you for trees and bees. Thank you for our beds and our heads...." =)
- 04/282010 - I know I've said this a million times but this girl can draw! She is really good at drawing princesses, cats and fairies. I tried to draw a cat and had to copy her b/c attempt I made was rediculous!
- 04/28/2010 - Reading like a pro! Loves making up stories and telling them to her sisters.
- 04/28/2010 - Also loves drawing dresses....very detailed dresses. She is amazing!
- 03/10/2010 - Why is it that all kindergarteners (mine included) think that the word underwear is the funniest thing ever. Oh please let this be a short phase!
- 03/10/2010 - This week she has been playing a lot of dress ups and princess type play. This is unusual for her. she would usually opt for pretending to be an animal.
- 02/17/2010 - Spent her birthday at Disneyland! Had a week long celebration in CA with grandparents and cousins to help us celebrate! Love this girl!
- 01/15/2009 -I can't believe my baby is getting ready to turn six soon. She has become such a good reader! She continues to draw amazing picutures and have fun playing with her sisters and friends from school and church.
New Tricks for Avrie
- 09/15/2010 - Words from my picky eater, "Actually, I do like raviollis."
- 09/15/2010 - When sisters told her that the sun is actually a start Avrie says, "Duh...Even guys with cigarettes know that."
- 09/15/2010 - We are in to jokes. I believe she made this one up...or at least she likes to claim she did. "What did the nut say at the end of the prayer?" "Al men" (Almond) Silly girl.
- 07/15/2010 - Is always saying "Do you want to know something interesting...." Also is constantly asking what words mean. Curious Avrie.
- 06/15/2010 - loves building things with her duplo legos.
- 05/15/2010 - "Googo is the king of the numbers."
- 04/28/2010 - My baby who loves her "silky bilkey" is letting her sisters sleep with her favorite blanket. It is sweet but makes me sad that she doesn't need it anymore. She is growing up.
- 04/28/2010 - Loves loves loves playing with legos.
- 04/28/2010 - Has really gotten into drawing lately. She loves to write "i (heart shape) u" on everything. It is her signature. She loves to give people a drawing and write I love you on it. Nearly everyday when we pick up annaliese from school she gives Mrs. J a picture.
- 04/28/2010 - For career day at school she dressed up as a builder. She wore a little tool belt apron and had it loaded with tools. One thing she also carried around all day was a sweet note from Annaliese. Avrie has really been loving on her big sister lately. Sweet girl.
- 04/28/2010 - Avrie has a sticker chart. She gets a sticker for trying new foods or sometimes for eating all her food. This girl is a toughy! Today she ate a bite of apple and oh the drama! Apple! No skin! Common Avrie!
- 03/10/2010 - New favorite color is black. What?
- 03/10/2010 - Cracking me up when she pretends to be a fierce mountain goat (claws and hisses)...or a handicap mountain goat (sits on the scooter and scoots while maaaaing.)
- 02/15/2010 - Have I ever mentioned this girl is the hair accessory queen? Always wears a headband at the very least. Often currly ribbons and bows are clipped to the head band. Also she likes to clip bow clips to all of her stuffed animal ears.
- 01/15/2010 - Has been really into her drawings lately. She loves to draw smiley face heart people with bows in their hair. Darn cute!
New Tricks by Adeline
- 10/20/2010 - There is another Addie in her class...so she is learning to write Adeline or to remember to write Addie K.
- 10/20/2010 - Loves all fruit and veggies! The other day I had to say "Addie, no more vegetables until you eat more of your dinner." Seriously! =)
- 10/20/2010 - Joke made up by addie "What did the cat say when she saw Jesus do something? "It's a meowicle!" Silly girl.
- 10/20/2010 - Is loving school. She is social and doing well with her work.
- 10/20/2010 - Eats Clementine oranges by the case. She likes to peel them and then count how many peels it takes her to peel it.
- 05/15/2010 - Wears her dance leotards all day. Loves it!
- 05/15/2010 - "This basement is a pigstyle!"
- 04/28/2010 - This girl is pretty easy going but when she decides not to be...she is immovable! We are working on her not saying "But mom...." after every request I make. =)
- 04/28/2010 - Love her kisses. Before bed or before school she must kiss both of my cheeks and give me a huge hug. Love this girl!
- 04/28/2010 - Is starting to try to say THanks instead of Ganks. I'm proud of her but sad a little sad that she is growing up.
- 04/28/2010 - Funny girl! Loving dance class! She is a natural.
- 03/10/2010 - Did great at the denist today. Has a cracked roon in one of her teeth? No wonder it hurts!
- 03/10/2010 - Colors so well! OH MY GOSH she is good!
- 03/10/2010 - "Pooped means your tired" "pooped, pooped, pooped...." I think it was her that also likes to point out that the letter P is okay to say.
- 01/30/2010 - Is working on earning stickers for her chart. What ever it takes to get her to not wake mom and dad in the night! Working hard to earn that prize!
- 01/15/2010 - This girl is by far the most outgoing and extroverted in our family. I love the way she can make anybody smile just by being herself.
